I just came up with a new shirt design and it’s fitting to what I’ve been going through lately. Often I like to dream about what I want to do or what I wish I could do. Not literally dream (I don’t often get enough sleep for that, haha!) but more like dreams and aspirations. We often set the bar high for ourselves in life. When the bar is set high we feel like maybe we can’t reach it. SO… we don’t TRY. Dreaming is free, so there is no real penalty or chance for failure. Hustling and actually trying to achieve a dream though? That requires some real investment. Time. Money. Emotions. That is when the rubber really hits the road and that hustle is what makes it all happen.
If you’ve ever played sports, you’ve dreamed about taking the winning shot. Maybe you’ve been in a position to make the play that wins the game. When you’re in the game and you don’t hustle, you won’t get into the position to make that game winner. If you’re afraid to take the ball because the pressure is too high, you just watch from the sidelines. That’s why we need to play hard in the game of life, no matter how tired we might be. If you can dig deep and conquer uncertainty or fear, and you find the energy to keep on hustling… you can set yourself up for the win.
